The second part of the Luminous Legends Y Pokémon GO event began on May 25th and had a special focus on Eevee and the release of its eighth and currently final eeveelution: Sylveon the Intertwining Pokémon. Coinciding with this, the highly anticipated Eevee Heroes TCG Set, the sixth in the Sword and Shield expansion, was recently released in Japan on May 28th. This has been one of the most hyped TCG releases, and continuing with the current popularity of the TCG leading to supply shortages, fans were put into a lottery system (Japanese text for lottery instructions here) for the second round of pre-orders.
This set contains 69 normal cards and 32 secret rare cards focusing on Eevee and its Eeveelutions. Within the normal cards, each Eeveelution has a V version and Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, and Umbreon also have VMAX versions. Within the secret rare cards, there are both full art and special art versions of each Eeveelution V. The four VMAX cards additionally have rainbow rare and additional special art versions. There are also two trainer secret rare cards in both full art and rainbow rare variants: the Circhester gym leader and rock type specialist Gordie and the Aroma Lady. Lastly there are four gold cards to complete the secret rares: shiny Inteleon, Vigor Shake, Turffield Stadium, and Darkness Energy.
An English release date is not mentioned yet, but could come in early to late Fall if the Pokémon Company follows previous release patterns, possibly as part of the August Evolving Skies set or as part of the currently unannounced November set.
